you don't buy Midas to replace your time farming, but to accelerate it, and also go for late game...
They say "GOLD noob" or "learn to play" etc. But they can't guve me a proper answer :)
A solid point, often when I'm playing Nature's Prophet in the late game, that gold I get from selling the midas is just enough to ensure a buyback after building my last item.
Not true because you get the standard gold from creeps without midas.
With midas you get the 190 gold only from the consumed creeps. You can't get the regular gold + the 190 gold. You have 2600+ hours in dota 2 so you should know that. :)

So yes, Midas is needed in some games.
pretty situational item, depends on a hell lot of factors. For example, the second poster, macadamstreet is prolly a bad misas user.
