Axe. He's very easy, very fun, and very strong in the current meta.

viper... :p
newbie's shouldn't be tanking really...
I started with Keeper Of The Light Since he Stays Back and Nuke and Mana People

I dunno if Keeper of the Light is a good newbie hero. Viper is a good newbie hero, though. As is Razor, and maybe Necrophos.

and one more help which is the best invy for PA and PL
:)

what about pudge? he's very tanky. i wouldn't suggest new players to pick him, but everyone picks him regardless... dragon knight is quite tank early on because of his passive and he's fun to play. tidehunter and centaur are ok too imo. especially because you can also learn how to initiate with blink dagger.

Tide, he has 3 spells, so it's not too easy, which would build bad habits if it was, but not that hard because all you need to remember is to max anchor smash first and you should almost never die especially against some lineups.

Dragon Knight.

DK, viper and axe are all good. pretty straightforward heroes to learn and very tanky.

chaos knights pretty fun and easy. He has 1 of the highest strength gains in the game and focuses on pure strength and health items. Also there are at most 7 of him at a time, which helps a lot. Hard to drop him when you have to be guessing through the 7 chaos knights who are teleporting around and swapping places.

Bristleback should be quite fun and easy to handle.

Centaur is a really good hero, but you might have trouble using him if you are new.

I have grown a liking to Magnus, but he can be hard(er) to play than other tanky heros, so I would recommend bot matches first. But he can be great fun to torment the enemy with.

Probably best for newbies are those ranged tanks.
Go for Viper, Razor, Dragon Knight, these are fun/easy heroes to play with.

And later on, if you've played enough, consider those melee tanks.
Axe, Bristleback, Centaur.
