No, I have this problem too. And i'm using win 7. Several people that claim have this problem on win 11, have their acc status in-game dota 2, i dunno if they lie or not.

No, they'd tell you. Probably some driver issues or something else. Could also be full Dota 2 cache.

Not trying some rando file download suggestions hahaha, at least not until i have a safe sandbox to test it in, which currently is difficult for me.

Anyways, yes win 7 users seem to be getting hit by this LOST CONNECTION TO STEAM thing worst, but i've seen people posting in the forums who claim to have win 11 and the same problem.

if it shows they are in game that could just be the case, as i tried leaving the game open in hopes that it would re-connect after a time or something...

running the game isn't the problem, it's that when you get into the game it does not connect / find / use your personal account information, so all is back to default settings and you can't play anything but demo and tutorials it seems.

i tried every fix [other than new operating system or fresh dota2 install] i could find after searching for the problem, and nothing worked yet.
Everyone else i see can play on friends list etc, so it might be some rare issue like maybe poor isp connection packet loss or operating system or maybe both ?

Dota 2 is supported on win7 but steam isn't, LOL.
