Camera grip button VS mouse raw camera view

Ive been playing dota for many years and i always used my mouse to move around the camera but i have been seeing many players using the camera grip so i am wondering, is camera grip a must thing pros are using or its simply based on player preference? Does raw mouse camera view makes me less good of a player than the one who learned with camera grip button?

Less mouse movement with camera grip, its about the only advantage. Just do what suits you best, it doesn't make you better.

I've used edge pan just because im used to it from older RTS games and never really bothered learning camera grip, doesn't affect how I play and it wont make me a top 10 immortal player.
