We all love that.
Treat spectre like bara - don't show in the open, get linken, stay close to allies.
Can't even exist on the map without euls, or a manta if I'm carry. It's annoying to have to rush manta every time. And no it's not a late game problem, it's right after lane phase. And saying to have your team ready to ambush it is retarded as most people play solo queue and you can't even talk there. I run anonymous mode for a year, never even ping all game except once on my kill target or maybe once on rosh, and still dropped 600 points from 10k. Game should not be balanced around having a pocket team hiding in the bushes behind you. That's retarded.
It's only the second most annoying garbage hero right now. This game is in a bad state.
At some point, why 2 cores should be alone in lanes ? Not that hard to adopt a 4-1 setup and let the guy alone in lane to rush a dispel or linken. The others are packed, with the hard carry farming even in lane safely. If Spectre show up, she will do it only once...
My big concern with Spectre are the supports feeding because they push lanes in a braindead way or the hard support not warding. Otherwise, she is not an unstoppable threat unless you had a bad draft.
And the spectre is solo the whole time, can just haunt in and out to join the team and drop a silence. You as the opposite core, need to commit a tp to join your team. That kind of global presence Valve understood only belongs to heroes like furion, who are just straight up garbage in fights.
Point is, the hero forces the enemy safelaner to play in a suboptimal way and rush non-farming items. It's not even hard to beat a spectre, I do it all the time, because they are braindead. But it's annoying and it's not dota. It's the offlaner and mid who should force you to play in weird ways, and they already do, not the enemy carry at minute 10. And yes, that Shadow Demon on your team is going to deward that same spot again and die again. You know he will. Look, he's doing it right now.
Once again Valve is forcing all picks to be only heroes who can manfight at minute 10 in a little League of Legends fight in midlane. But precious little spectre can have the whole huge map.
let him snorr around as much as he want, finally he must come to germany do the one crossing hes afraid to do so long time before thats why he snorr around instead of crossing you aheadingly; and in my territory im the master, so im going to catch anyone claiming cheap on us
That porting back will be taken out of the game 100%, I couldn't even believe when I first saw it.
And yes, global presence on a carry is idiotic. He will farm 20 kills by the time your team is properly equipped to deal with that, and there are also 4 others in the enemy team not just a fkin spectre.
I think I already said this in another topic about Spectre. Her success is only stupidity / role abuse based. Against clever players fulfilling their role properly, she cannot do much before 25min or 30min, depending on her farm (Orchid alone is not enough to secure kills). After that, of course she becomes a bigger threat as a hard carry, that is quite logical. Nevertheless, if after 30min, the guy alone in lane, pushing, does not have a dispel and an escape or Linken, that guy should look at the mirror to find the issue.
Had a rough game yesterday once again with her, but only because of the draft (Shaman mid and Snapfire offlane). I compensated the Shaman (yeah I role abused to compensate a role abuse, throw me the rock if you never did...). But that guy still was on the dumb side, feeding her during the game cause as shaman he felt obliged to push lanes. Snapfire feeded a bit, too. On the other hand, the soft support did it right and purchased Linken around 35min and was careful before that timing...
However, I already played plenty of games against Spectre that went well.
Just a matter of team organization and player cleverness.
You also seem to miss that Linkens is quite useless, as Spectre will cast dagger first to pop that zit. THEN follows with Orchid's / Bloodthorn and then melts your face.
I don't think you'd defend the practice if you weren't exploiting Spectre for ez mmr gain yourself, so I'm calling you out.
