Ranking System is so bad!

Why is the ranking system so bad? i have way over 1000 hours in Dota 2 yet im in a group where i get to play with brand new players! once in herald it seems impossible to get out unless you have a good team to play with regularly. Game is breaking me lol

Number of hours in a game does not entitle you to a rankup. You're not good enough to beat beginners even after 1000 hours, that actually crazy.

1000 hrs is not a lot. I went up in rank then got low low. then up up again. It's a grind to rank up and it's easy get tilted and rank down faster than going up. The trick to herald to low archon is just to spam your best hero that is meta in the current patch at least that what worked for me

You can recalibrate your rank for easier rank up. But it is still advisable to do that with a team you know is good.

1000 hours is not much in this game

and let me save you some feelings getting hurt in the future.

you will meet new accounts even with 20k hours.
