I Quit DOTA 2 because of matchmaking

I had fun in DOTA 2, but also, because of bad matchmaking, i choose to quit and save myself the trouble that comes with Valve not caring to provide fairness (they force you to lose more than you win, and that makes the matchmaker bad). The ideal balance would be a 50.1% winrate, My winrate hovers around 47-48%. It may not sound bad, but average. It is very bad, though. The difference between wins and losses is a few hundred games, which would make my actual rank way better. A matchmaker must provide 50.1% winrate for the average player and only great players should be able to beat that number. Since the game devs donțt care to provide that, and are interested only in making money, i think i can forget about this game. Too bad, coz it was good a few years back. Competing requires fair conditions and thata makes the game bad at this point. Whenever you win 5 games, turns out you will lose 6 games in the following games. That is by design so it feels bad for my psych. Thing is, at the mmr i m ranked at the moment, winning those 5 games should not place me in a rank where i am way above my league and can t keep winning at that rank. It s not as if i was suddenly ranked 3 k mmr above my skills and i would not be able to do anything because i would be much worse that the competition. I was ancient and legend a few years back and now i m crusader and whenever i hit archon, the game matches me so i lose lots of games in a row and can t stay there. This feels bad by design. Lots of people are arguing that they cannot get out of this mmr range. I donțt want to cry about my misfortune, i m just saying that you fail to provide good matches and that makes me unhappy in the long run. The purpose of playing a game is relieving the tension and being happier overall in time. If your game does the opposite, and that is what happens to me, i choose to end my time spent here. I believe that in time, if more people do the same, your finances will be affected and at least some of my discomfort will be returned. I don t think i m coming back.

I left for a month and i played 1 game yesterday.... same bad matchmaking.. don't respect roles... so I uninstalled it again... Don't play dota.. The game is great but the matchmaking is really bad... behavior system is terrible... No ban or punishment for toxic people... Just leave dota until they fix these.. Don't play dota this way... The only way to stop this is showing them with numbers..... Each day more people is leaving dota sadly... but bad devs happends..

Here i’m encouraging people to leave the game (take a stance againts Valve) and you encouraging people to not be afraid to tell the truth but keep playing the game. Whose actually the paid actor ?

Maybe you should tell the same to the people playing deadlock because it's BAD. I know i was done with that piece of ♥♥♥♥ so long as they don't fix things or make the game worse every update.

Though i'm thinking i might quit dota for good too because ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this isn't even fun anymore both with our without a 5 stack.

i don't know, have not tried LOL yet. But i have already quitted dota for 3 months, feel much better. I love this game but now only watch pro - players play. Man, i really miss the Dota2 from 2016 - 2020.

Valve would never forbid any players to leave dota2 forever. I can guarantee you this.

So good luck on your next game outside dota2 but even without you, dota2 will still be here and played by half a millions players everyday. Respecfully.

dota is free to play but not free to climb you valve agent incel. Thats why everyone who is crusader or above has dota plus and or has climbed to that rank or above using dota plus

Where are the OG dota 2 players nowadays. Its weird because from 2011-2013 dota 2 doesn't even have ranked mode. So nobody climb on that time. Where is the OG players nowadays, why its always the new soft gen z players who compaint ?

Yes maybe its better to delete the solo ranked queue. So people have to party first before playing. And solo can play all unranked.

I can sense many cases or complaints were made by players who faced game issues when they stepped into this game without the necessary experience (no offence). I can confess this because I was once an active whiner (complainer) about the Ranked MM too. A lot of experience was achieved after many struggles (gameplays & forum talks).

As we know, the common game match in "Dota II" requires at least 5 players in a team and 10 players in total to ensure a good start to the game. Why does the game never erase the "solo" gameplay because it already generated a lot of unwanted issues such as "abuse of MMR", "MMR boosting", "smurfing", etc? - if that player never forms a party with at least one partner, the green button of Play Dota shall be locked.

The reason for the strict locking is to "enforce" the player to find at least a partner or form his party first if he wants to battle in the arena. When he plans for a complaint, that partner or his party members must join in his discussion. Otherwise, that discussion or talk is a no-point complaint, which can immediately be locked or deleted.

I believe many "Smurfs" or boosting players can lose their dirty benefits too. Doesn't it sound better against those?

There is no problem with solo matchmaking. if you cant climb you should practice more in unranked. or have more fun in arcade. and it will improve your skills and will warm you up for rank up. stop spamming ranked. ranked is only for when you are happy and have lots of confident. dota is not only ranked. enjoy other sections of the dota.
If you are spamming ranked for fun, then its what you will get. if you think you deserve ancient or divine, then you should be able to go for +30-+40 kills in crusader or archon. if you cant, then its your rank. just enjoy it. why thinking a lot about your rank?! just have your fun. below 10k mmr you should stop thinking so much about mmr and have your fun. we are not pro dota players who compete in Leagues or TI. so whats the matter?! herald or divine, its same for us. we are playing for some fun. not for money.

didnt we argued about deleting solo ranked queue before?! you should keep your thought for yourself. if you cant understand solo ranked queue or cant help people with with it, then you should stop talking. just tell them that you dont know how to rank up solo or play solo. there is no reason to cry for valve about deleting it.
