Frostivus 2024 Treasure Chest is broken!

Dude... I opened 80 chests (1:6 chance) and not a single Windranger set.
While Dark Willow and Venom I get with 7 to 10 opened many times.
Something is wrong with that chances...

yes thats bad there should be a mechanic that lets you get the treasur after a certain threshold... thats the reason i am not buying..

Thanks man. I finally got it, after 82 chests.
I think Dota uses some algorithm for who spends more money.
Knowing this, I don't think I'll ever buy RNG Chests again. That's not fair.

I spent just above $100, I recycled a lot. But whatever, I want nice things and the standard WR model and skins makes a hobo look well dressed.

Even after 50 chests, the odds are still 1-in-17; so not great. I haven't tried to do all the math but for the first 2-dozen odd chests the odds are so bad they might as well be zero, so it makes sense to me that it would take a while to get the WR arcana.

Not sure if it's more cost-efficient to recycle extra treasures for more chances or wait and sell them on the market later. Probably makes sense to recycle the commons and save the duplicate rares.
