Why does Dota 2 update so much?
I am in no way experienced with this game.
I've played maybe three matches in the beginner mode and that's it.

For some reason this game updates almost everyday on steam. Why?

It's live service game and there's a new event going on

They record your wins and loses, so updates about everyday. Especially for behavior in game.

that has nothing to do with the question asked..

to answer the question the game updates quite often. most of time its hotfixes and other minor things, bugs they fix from new updates.
when a new patch drops they keep updating many many small things for a while

Because they have bunch of idiot programmers that generate many bugs
