OTP/TAC for bank? Why Steam Guard Cannot?

If bank transactions can run with it, then why Dota 2 items tradings can't run with it? That is a question where every reader or commentator who wants to start his first comment to answer it first. OTP known as One Time Password while TAC means for Transaction Authorization Code. Steam Guard is a security system coded for Steam users to install on their mobile smartphones to act as another layer in protecting the flows of items from going in and out of the linked accounts. Any account that is linked to Steam Guard usually has very high security where hacker or scammer will be very hardly to steal the items because any transaction or transfer to be done through the protected account must goes through the verification by the owner first.

Here is another story for the use of OTP/TAC concept on the items of Dota 2. Months ago I spoke about the locking of items. However, many denied that the idea was bad as it affecting the trading system. That was not what I was trying to mean actually. The purpose of locking an item is by using the verification of code such as OTP or TAC applying on bank transactions.

Imagine if you are able to lock an item such as your arcana for 365 days. Please note, this locking of item (arcana) require the verification by the owner who owning the smartphone activating with Steam Guard, which means the user or owner can lock or unlock his items at any time for the selective time, but the verification processes will be done or completed through the Steam Guard codes that carries similar concept like bank transactions.

Imagine deeper!!! If you can manually control each of your items by selecting 100 arcanas you own and lock them at 1 or 2 years? Or any duration as you like? But most importantly is the verification processes will be done or completed through the Steam Guard codes as mentioned above. When users or owners of items are able to control their items for security and safeness, then why do we need trade-hold duration or cooldown that disturbing the business or trading of traders around?

This doesnt change current system in any positive way

We already have log in codes and mobile confirmations of all trades with steam guard.

People just keep giving up their credentials on random sites and confirm with their own hands giving out all their items at once.

Current trade is too strict and it affects the duration for owner who using Steam Guard in business to take time. They need to wait 7 days if there is an item being transferred or traded or moved from an account to another account. That is the difference there where you didn't realize or see. The concept of security as I suggested there is for owner of the item to fully control his property. Otherwise, some business or promise might or can be missed.
