MouseClick/Button/Auto-cast

So I decided to watch a game a friend was playing.. Besides the usual wierd moments every game had I noticed 1 thing most of the players did (which was around 3.5k-4k ranking).. Alot of them used mouse clicks to use (ability mouse click-drag to enemy-click on enemy):

all of their skills
any items like Power Treads from agility to strenght when near death or to int when needed mana, or Urn of Shadows, which was not even used on the enemy but themselves during a hitting battle xD
they did not use any buttons to make their skill/item usage half a second or a second faster

There are 3 ways (well, basic ones) to use skills and items:
1. Mouse clicking on skill then target
2. Using a button assigned to a skill, so you can keep following the target with your mouse and then just left click on the desired target after pressing the ability button
3. Auto-cast, the button will be doing both the activation and applying the ability/item on the target your mouse is hovering over

So I was wondering if there are alot more players like that.. I personally use auto-cast on all my skills (that means, all I need to do is put my mouse over the target and press the ability I want to use on them, in short, instant usage with less delays of picking ability up, dragging to your oponent and clicking on them.. it's slightly faster than normal button usage, cause I don't need to mouse click at all)
1-2 top items also auto-cast on for something like hex or Eul's.. on 3rd item slot auto-cast is off, for something like force-staff so I could double button click to use it on myself in a tight situation
