Low fps on nvidia geforce 740m

Hi, everyone!
I got that problem with low fps running on ultras
Core i3-3120M
6 GbDDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M 2048 Мб
res 1900*1080

though on my other pc with radeon 6790(same pc config) i got 50+ fps also on ultras.

1) Updated drivers
2) Default gpu for dota set to nvidia in control panel
3) New win8.1 (just drivers and steam and dora)

Please help me out here. =)

According to this benchmark list, that card only gets about 22 FPS on ultra. Not sure there's much you can do if you want to run it on ultra. The 6790 is a desktop card, so that's not a great comparison.

It appears to be in German, so just hit control-F and type in 740m to find the right entry.

check you power management plan. maybe smth is handicapping you there.
try reducing video settings. maybe your video just isnt that good.

Thanks guys. I just needed to hear this from 1 more person, that 740m was a bad decision. Because it's like 2 years between 6790 and 740m...
