Create Custom Lobby - Bots not working

A mate and I are trying to play wtf mode, with bots.

I've clicked Create Lobby
Enabled - Auto Fill Empty Slots
Set bots to Unfair
Enabled Cheats

We choose our positions (Both Radiant)
Then start.

When we get in the bots are up the top (Their portraits) But not once have we seen ANY hero's in the game.

We've both restarted Dota, hosted multiple times, and still to no fix.

I've had a look around on here and the web and have failed to even find a meantion of the problem.

Please, any help would be greatly appriciated.

if by wtf mode you mean ability draft then thats bcuz bots arent programmed for ability draft

No, i mean enabling cheats and typing -wtf

It's All Random mode btw (But we also tried All pick)

If anyone could test if just creating a custom lobby, selecting a spot, and turning on Auto fill empty slots with bots, that would be great, because that doesn't even work for me.

I am having the same problem... Create a lobby, friend joins... She and I join one side, enable "fill slots with bots" and so forth... Join the game and their pictures appear at the top but they do not appear in the map

Working just fine for me, just did a game with identical conditions to what you said and everything worked as expected. It's a weird problem, it used to happen to me but only after doing a practice bot game three or four times in a row before fixing itself after making a new game. You may have to restart your steam client or computer, if that doesn't work delete and reinstall dota.

I had this problem too. Custom Map, fill slots with bots, chosen different types of bots and bots appered in the fountain but didnt moved at all. One funny thing - Lion bought the courier. And that's all - they stayed in the same starting point after the game begun. Maybe bots should be seperately programmed for new map. Especially that lanepaths are different.

Type "-allvision" to find out if they are just staying in their base. Or you can just add heroes of your choise by typing "-createhero <hero_name>" on your side or "-createhero <hero_name> enemy" on the opposite side. But they won't be moving. You can controll them anyway.

I have the same problem bots spawn in the spawn area one buys a courier and thats it for the rest of the game. I should also mention that I am attempting to play on a custom game called lod and that I have to spawn the bots in game. I was able to spectate a game on thier server and thier bots are working perfectly fine. maybe there is a command or something that can fix the problem but idk.

wao, this problem occur so long ago, even now Dota Reborn, I had the same problem

tried all random, both manual and filled with bots, they were all just show at selection page, wont even spawn into the game at all

strange, anyone found any fix to this??
