Inscribed Artificer's Hammer

I got an inscribed artificers hammer along with an item with a kinetic gem. Strangely, how in the world did an inscribed kills gem get on an artificers hammer? Am I the only one who got one?

same here, however mines has kill assists, unfortunatly its not tradable as it was obtained from the Welcoming Chest

Same here. I opened the Welcome Chest and I got my standard Inscribed Rare item (with Assistances gem) plus an Inscribed Artificer's Hammer, with another Assistances gem. Weird, isn't it? How is the rune going to count anything in the first place if it's not an in-game item?

Mine didn't but I opened it a while ago. Were all these 'finds' recent? Might be a bug of sorts then.

I got one aswell, except there is no gem on the Hammer. And it still says it is inscribed.

I think if we had another hammer, it may be able to extract the gem from the original hammer.
