How does Open Mic Threshold work?

The threshold goes from 0-100, but after testing different values I can't figure out which one pics up more noise and which one less.

If I wanted to pick up less noise, like keyboard strokes, which direction should I slide it?

The higher the number, the less random noise it will pick up.

However, people have a tendency to mute those that use open mic, which means unless you are exclusively playing with friends I really wouldn't do that.

Okay, thanks. I figure if I can get it to only pick up my voice then it would be just like PTT. I'll try again.

It's hard enough trying to press a million keys in a fight without having to also press the mic button.

Why would I want to here your radio, TV, parents, siblings, kids, etc... all game? I'm trying to hear game sounds so that I can react to them...

Open mic is instant mute by most everyone.

Finally someone with a brain. I am so shocked that most of these kids have no idea what mic sens is when I ask them to adjust it pls. They are so helpless and mentally challenged. And appereantly some of them claim that noone else before told them that, although you can constantly hear their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dog bark in the background or their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ keyboard.
