More like under 4000 MMR
He can be depending the strategy.
I've always thought of the mid as anyone who is a good ganker; with a lengthy stun, great nuke and tankiness to fight under towers, DK is good. I understand that mids are more than that but come on, I'm a 3k mmr guy.
I can't be the only one who doesn't know what epeen means
Your team will pick 3-5 mids, and 10% of your games will involve a dual mid with each hero asking in all chat for reports on the other one. Despite this, your lane will never get a gank. What you will get is 75 missing calls from mid in the first 10 minutes, to the point that you tune them out entirely. If the enemy mid ever does decide to gank you will get flamed by your mid, "what the hell, I called missing!"
All games are contractually obligated to last at least 45 minutes. You may not take rosh unless 3 or more enemy heroes are dead, or you are ursa. You may not use smoke at all unless you are ursa attempting a solo rosh.
You can divide heroes into two camps, the heroes that built a "fast" hand of midas, and the heroes that built a "recovery" hand of midas.
If you, as a support, buy a gem. There will be a great deal of discussion about who is the ideal "gem holder." Ultimately, you will give the gem to a skeleton king that already has 14 deaths and he will solo tower dive within two minutes.
When your team is not 4 mids it will be you and another dude running into 5 heroes, as your team's nature's profit, clockwork, and spectre promise you that they're going to come in just as soon as you start fighting.
The game is won when you take mid rax. This is evident in that, regardless of the game situation, if the mid rax is down your entire team will run to the enemy fountain.
%90 of the immediate pudge pickers suck.
%70 of the support pickers wont buy wards until they have like boots +1 or 2 core items.
if you are the baby sitter support. you are always the one to blame if not mid. you are expected to buy 10 wards. cus ur carry needs to see %99 of the map.
if you play decent support and yet your team still looses you will be called feeder, underfarmed. cus hey u have to buy wards and sentries to deward, dont mess with the carry farm,no last hit, always leave the hero kill to your carry and a positive KDA with 6 slot core items.
and more interesting thing is i have never witnessed anyone accepting that they loose because simply the other team played better. it doesnt always have to be you or your team that fails. sometimes it's just the the other team is better.
Most losses are just about that. The opposing team played better. And though Dota has no draw, someone has to lose. Most player's attitude is just "It wasn't me", and thats a shame.
