Cannot Pause Game

F9 is setup as my pause key, but no matter what, it never pauses the game. I am incapable of pausing. =[ Am I the only one?

are you maybe playing on laptop that uses the f keys for other stuff like turning on the screen,volume up/ down ?
if so you need to turn it off

No laptop. Razer keyboard. The F9 key is default programmed to enabled/disable the macro keys, however, in order to turn Macro on/off you need hold the function key down first then press F9. The thing is, my pause ability used to work about a week ago. Haven't really needed to use it since until now.

Noticed that the client didn't mind me changing it to F10, but attempting to change it back, I had to press the F9 key several times.

I'm wondering if there might be a relationship between this and a game I had yesterday where when I tried to cast abilities, I could activate the ability using my keyboard shortcuts, but when attempting to target enemy heroes with left click, it just wouldn't work.

dont know never had this kind of problem try using another keyboard just to check if it is the keyboards fault otherwise reinstall the game

Don't have another keyboard that works. Well apparently I have a logitech but that keyboard does not work properly with my PC (and apparently only my PC). But it isn't just a keyboard issue, and I know this because similar issues happens with mouse commands. I know I don't have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mouse, considering this thing hasn't had problems in anything ever, except for Dota, and it's hit or miss when it does happen, so it's gotta be a client/server side issue I'm thinking, as the keys are responding in the client.

So because I've used the pause feature once... and I've unpaused games twice... I'm not allowed to pause? When I see people in matches pause and unpause the game a half dozen times. Makes sense.... /sarcasm

It seems to be, when you need the pause the most the game just doesnt want you to. Its extremely annoying. And the same player can unpause every other players pauses, its ridiculous
