stuck on 'finding a match' forever

So when I party with people or by myself the entire party cannot ever connect to a game. However I can 'create a game' and connect to a server manually that way. I have no idea what is the problem with my computer that is blocking me and my party from ever finding a game. My friends can find a game when I leave the party.

Damn, that sucks. But I guess its somewhat of a good sign that other people are having this issue. Hopefully its on Valves end and they fix it.

Here in my place there are about 7 people affected by this and 10+ who aren't. We have no idea why this is happening. Hopefully this gets fixed soon enough. I just bought a compendium and I'm somehow regretting that I did cause of this.

I've been finding matches within 3 sewconds of clicking Find Match all day today. =D
Definitely your end that is causing the issue. lol Might be your personal network, or your ISP in your area causing some ping/latency issues.

I doubt that it is the ISP. As I said, some of us are able to play the game without any problem. Their pings are quite stable at 35 as well. Some of us have been finding matches like forever. We have reported the issue but no reply from steam yet. Great customer service if you ask me *sigh*

I doubt that it is the ISP. As I said, some of us are able to play the game without any problem. Their pings are quite stable at 35 as well. Some of us have been finding matches like forever. We have reported the issue but no reply from steam yet. Great customer service if you ask me *sigh*

They have good pings, but what about the ones having the issues?

Obviously the game works for some people, that doesn't mean its 'definitely on my end' as you were saying..

We're just in 1 place sir. My friend has like 15 pc's here. We even exchanged pc's to those who have working accounts but still the same so definitely not on our end.

u have been banned i think go to the console type developer 1 and dota_game_account_debug
check match_disabled_until_date i have the exact same issue banned for no reason. mine is match_disabled_until_date: 1400792788

Ok its working for me now. Played a couple games on an old steam account and when I came back to check this account I could get into a game relatively fast.
