How do I get multiple "clones" of myself in-game?

Ive seen several characters do this before and Id love to know how to do it. Thx

Certain heroes can make illusions of themselves or others (e.g Terrorblade, phantom lancer, morphling). An item called manta style and the illusion rune also do this. Illusions tend to take more dmg and aren't able to use hero skills.
Meepo is the exception, he has actual clones of himself that have all his abilities, but only his boots as items.
