My account may have been accessed by someone else. PLEASE HELP.
4 days ago I received a red notification bar saying that I have call from steam support saying that "This account may have been accessed by someone else" sort of hijacking.

When I received the warning, I immediately follow what they want me to do. I changed my password, run a clean up on my computer and everything.

My account is totally fine and all my items are still intact. My only concern is that it seems like my account is locked that I can't play, trade, send gift and everything.

I already sent a ticket to steam support and this is my day 4 of waiting. and this is not the account that I've been working on.

Can someone help me or say something about this issue? Is this a hard case to resolve? How long will it takes to steam support to reply to my ticket?

I really appreciate comment and for those people who had the same issue as mine.

You need to prove to Steam support it is really you, because they don't know either way

Ask them for how you can prove your ID.
Also, it takes longer than 4 days.

I already gave them everything I got. my I.D has an email, alternative email, my school I.D picture, my visa name, my facebook name and everything that is link with that name. I provide them anything just to prove that I am the real owner of the account. My only concern is to unlock my account.

when you change your password or login into a new pc/device with your steam account
you wont be able to trade or gift or buy from the market
but it does not make any sence that you cant play

I really can't play. I have that red rectangle bar at the top of my notification saying that someone's may have been accessed to your account. Then there it is, also my friend list got affected, i can't appear online to my friend list. T_T

here's what you should do
change your email password and your steam account
cause who ever got your steam account maybe he has your email as well so change your password
add !#^ to it make it a long a$$ password

change your email password and your steam account

I already did that, bro. I also wrote a ticket regarding about this matter. How long till I wait for me to regain full access to my account? It's still like block. and I think I need to wait for steam support to remove my striction. am I right?

cause whoever got your account has loged in already and he tries to play
wait for steam support to answer you

I just think he got my steam but not my email, because I can tell that my email password is hard to decipher. and I checked my inventory and all my bugatiz are still there. I am just waiting for steam support to reply to my ticket. hmm, thanks man! any suggestion?
