Enchanted Mango?
What heroes do you buy this item on, and when?
Personally, I've found it useful when playing as Bane, and you need a surge of mana for that one last hit with Brain Sap. I've also heard of people grabbing two, and turning 300 mana into 300 gold.

Stats
150 gold to buy, unlimited supply in shop
Consume to gain 150 mana
Gain passive +1 health regen while you have it in your inventory

Personally if i am playing a really aggro bane i will want to try to lh as much as possible right off the bat (only if offlane ofcourse) and get my soul ring. Bane is the classic "buy soulring" hero, the passive hp regen keeps him next to full hp and you can pretty much cut even hp wise by using sould ring then life sap. It essentially lets him take hp from enemys while sustaining himself indefinitely. I would only pick up a mango on him if it was for a mana hungry core, because hes not going to benefit all that much from the 1hp regen since bane is a hero who is USUALLY sitting at full hp. (btw bane is very underplayed and still one of the best heros in dota, if the enemy team picks slark counterpick with bane and spam enfeeble, it cant be purged and reduces slark damage to 20/10/0 the first three levels, so if he is a carry its essentialy impossible for him to last hit ANYTHING.)

Enchantress, when you run out of mana for Impetus. Helps you to get out those 2 last shots to kill an enemy that would otherwise get away.

Yeah, Bane's barely ever played. He's sitting at like 3%, and in 95th place, but he feels so strong. Enfeeble is just hilarious while laning. Pretty much every carry has a ton of trouble last-hitting. You also have a high-power pure damage nuke/heal and a very strong disable (which you always have to explain to your teammates so they don't get Nightmare'd :steamfacepalm:), as well as that amazing ultimate.

I just wish more teammates knew how to take advantage of him, 'cause he's so much fun and so good.

I wouldn't get it on Bane because he is able to sustain beautifully once he has soul ring.

I really like it for heroes that are naturally tanky and/or have a pretty good base hp regen, like ogre and axe. It makes them very hard to push out of lane, and can be popped for a clutch disable or slow.

It's also really good for heroes where you won't take a lot of dmg in lane. I bought one for offlane Mirana recently because the enemy didn't have any good harassers. It got me a kill on the PL opposite when I didn't have enough mana for star storm.

It's not good for heroes that are going to be roaming the map or supports who will be stacking and pulling. This is because clarity gives you much better mana for money, so if you have time where you won't be fighting, it's a much better option than mango. Like for VS, in a gank she will likely only get off one stun anyway. After doing so you more often than not have time to step back and refill with some clarity.

I've heard of it used on junglers. Is that because neutral creeps cancel clarities, or is there another reason?
If you're a melee jungler like axe, blood, or ursa you can't wait for a clarity to give you mana unlike nature's prophet or enigma that are ranged and have minions that can do the tanking.

I always get it on Winter Wyvern
