Server ping FAILED. Unable to ping any region

I can't find match. When I select server, every server shows ping FAILED, and there's a red line saying "Unable to ping any region. Check your internet connection". I thought it was server error or something, so I left. Now I come back and the same thing is still happening. I tried reinstalling Dota 2, but it's still like that. My internet connection is very good, and I even tried changing to another network but still can't fix the problem. What am I supposed to do now?

Same problem but. I have a dual-boot Windows / Linux.
I can't ping regions with Dota2 Windows.
No problem with Dota2 Linux.

I reset network settings as you said and the problem is fixed.

If it can help someone, i did a network capture when the problem was there and it shows "RST/ACK" to Akamai network.

i found the solution !!! just download [dns jumper] or another dns changer and change dns it get works 100%

Dota uses UDP packets with size 1300 bytes. What helped me: to increase the MTU size in router settings (OpenWRT has default size of 1280 for DS-Lite).

Yeah I'm not sure, it's not letting me either and I play through geforce now so I can't really do these fixes, it was working fine until Compendium update.

I'm having the same issue

Tried the firewall and running as admin "solutions" from earlier posts, did not work.

Try disabling all your firewalls. control panel -> system and security -> windows defender firewall -> turn firewall on or off, then turn all off. make sure to only play dota while everything is down to be safe. hope this helps, it did for me.

When new updates push in, a lot of times there are some bugs which create an issue. Usually a safe bet is using the 32 bit version instead of 64 bit version. (This works in cases where dota 2 doesn't start up when pressing open). I believe the 32 bit version will have its restrictions... But till the patch kicks in (it usually does) you can try that. I think someone in this section already provided the location for the same so ill not.

Add me to the list. Cannot connect to servers since last update. No real response from support yet. Everything else works, whats wrong with Dota2?
