Not sure why every meele Carry was buying stout shield.
"Sometimes" you just need to Trade hits with your opponent
I don't think every carry should buy it, but if you plan to be agressive it's very good. Totally worth a buy on juggernaut if it permits you to run down the ennemy support everytime he shows in the lane. You can get your bf afterward and it might be more beneficial both in term of xp and gold to get this item if it gets you some early kills.
And that is why games are full 20-25 min Bf, radiance at 30 min, midas at 20, deso at 25 etc and guess what they go farm again because they have nothing else.
There is early, mid and late game items, people who rush any mid game item from min 1 are
in 90% cases reason why you lose that game.
It does slow, armor reduction, and damage per second with every hit.
Nothing wrong wit orb as early game item on a carry, i mean 1 iron branch can change a game in early game so no need to rage.
Also your last game was 4 month ago, isn't that 2 month before it's even added in game?
For example, juggernaut vs Necrophos. Necro cant do much in lane to stop jugg's farm and his w makes him more vulnerable to jugg's spin. If jug bought OOC, he could right click him to make Necro go out of xp range and kill him when he can. It is a situational item, not to be bought every game though.
