how to change my name at lobby

So as you can see my name here is Cheese. but if I join in a lobby. my names becomes different to something i didn't write. help pls

Either change your profile name inside the Steam client.

OR

Change it inside Dota 2.

Go to your profile. Click "Edit Profile".
Then just change your name.

You might need to restart the game first.

I got the same problem. Like my name is now, it will appear diffrently in the lobby.

In your friends TAB (In-Game) , At the top of this tab will be the option "TEAMS". You change in there.

when your ingame...click the picture with three person...its located on the bottom left corner...and thats it

you can change it in the Team tab inside the game, afair.

Team tab can be found in the same place as the info regarding ur friends in DotA.
