What do you think should happen?
Im well aware of the lousy internet over there but what about people that wasnt to enjoy a game free from all that?
The best answer is to have all the people prone to DC to play among yourselves, away from the more stable players.
I know it sucks but what do you expect when games are ruined?
Kindly read the OP again and reply with constructive criticism while sticking to the topic. The fact that you live somewhere with uninterrupted power and internet is not the topic of this thread. I have lived in Canada for 7 years and I know what you are talking about. Stick to the topic, don't make an arse of yourself.
His last paragraph was about changing LP back. I was clearly referring to that.
Ill reply how I like, not how you like.
Not making an arse out of myself, I was asking if he had any better ideas. Changing it back is one. We have all been there.
Oh, he tells you the truth, and you want to talk ♥♥♥♥? OK then...
The policy is fine, because it puts people that leave matches and ruin the experience for their team by putting them at a significant disadvantage in a proper place where they can play with other individuals that do the same. The person that leaves the match while the team is trying to score the win is a detriment to them, and it's completely unfair that they be forced to deal with that person, and that person is YOU.
If you find it difficult to finish a match because the powergrid is on the fritz, or your internet just doesn't feel like working, that's YOUR problem. Unfortunately for your team, you're making it THEIR problem as well, yet somehow the area you find unfair is - get this - that YOU'RE the one being punished. That's a mighty powerful victim card to slam on the table, considering you've probably ruined many a game for many a people. Yes, the person that runs in and ruins what could have been a perfectly good match for four other people claims it's unfair that they be held accountable for it.
So, to stay on your topic and to answer the title, yes, it's time for you to take a break from DOTA, and that break should be until they finally develop a decent system of power transmission and internet service in Bangladesh, or you move out of the area.
and after your long break, you may just realize you don't need to come back to dota2, you can pick another game, and by then it'd be even worse than it is now.
with that said i'll play a little bit more, the next time i get low priority is when i'll take many months break.
