Dota 2
Ability range
While experimiting with other MOBAs I realized this.
Dota doesn't have a convient range finder.
For example in League *shudder*, You click an ability and you automatically see the range, however in DotA you have to put your mouse over the ability. Also, some abilities are target, then it shoots off in some other direction, you can't see how far it's "second" range is. Perhaps an option to perpetually see your 'active' passives' range are (like necro's passive that takes percentage health off) and an option to see the range of your ability by simply selecting the ability with a letter instead of putting your mouse over it, which may bring upon your doom.
Item's also lack the range finder. Which is sometimes frustrating when you don't know extactly the range is for your active (or 'active' passive items).

When you put your mouse over an ability you can see a green circle, those are far more perferable than some ugly green highlights.

well the point is that you're not supposed to be able to get the circles, you're just supposed to know your range, you can check it by mousing over, but in fights you just have to eyeball it, kinda like how you also cant see enemies' mana without clicking them, there are just some things in dota that arent always laid out in front of you in the most obvious way like they are in other mobas

there actually used to be a console command to display rings around your hero at whatever ranges you wanted, but its considered a cheat now and disabled in matches

edit: and blink dagger specifically you need to just know the range of, since when you target outside of the range it doesnt blink you the max distance
