Ways to counter pudge?

I've noticed that every game i play includes a pudge, And the mid on my team is always a nooby feeder that lets pudge gank and farm, Any pudge counter heroes or countering moves?

riki quite good, but its easy to counter with sentry and dust. Juggermaut is the best to counter.

I noticed that Pudge was more popular when I started playing and I did see him every other game. Now I almost never do.

With what you described there is no actual problem with pudge, but with the team. If your mid feeds you would have the same trouble with any other hero.
