YOU YOUNG KIDS DONT EVEN KNOW.

BACK IN THE DAY EVERY MELEE HERO WOULD GET A POOR MANS SHIELD.

IT GAVE 6 AGI AND BLOCKED SOME DAMAGE AND WAS THE UPGRADE OF STOUT SHIELD.

POOR MAN SHIELD DESERVES TO BE AT LEAST A T2 NEUTRAL!!!!!!!

MAKE PMS GREAT AGAIN!!!!

Don't all melee heroes now come with the shield pre-installed into their ass?
PMS was always a weird one, because only Agil melee carries benefited from it, the rest had no use for +6 Agil.
Personally i think its fine the shields are gone in general (except for Vanguard of course), but definitely would make for an interesting neutral item.

Also I'd bet if Dota were to be reverted pre 7.0 most people who begged for it would get bored in a week and wish for talent trees and even neutrals to be back.

Some heroes didn't even have aghanim at that time and some of those had two passive ability. Also no backpack.

Imagine playing a hero with only 2 spells, tp takes an item slot, no aghanim, no shard, no neutral. There is litteraly less button to press and much less complexity. The experience might be more classical or vanilla I don't know, but defenitly less engaging and entertaining at some point. I think after 10+ years we would of get bored of seeing certain heroes be defined by a one trick one spell thing.

I would want to play old dota again and feel it should be at least an seasonal event some of the time. Of course we haven't had a playable seasonal event in forever.

Poor mans shield is a perfect neutral. If iron talon (that now works on ancients) came back then the extremely popular must have item on every melee agi hero from back in the day deserves to come back.

These items got removed for a good reason, old dota wasn't that great as it had problems of its own that had to be solved.

This is like listening to old men go "everything was much easier back in the day without all this tech". Like boiling all your food...

Naw, I just would want to play before the talent trees came out. And maybe it was better back then I'd have to play it again. Valve will never do it though because its a lose lose situation for them.
