Too many smurfs and nothing is done
Valve what are you doing against all these smurfs? It's tiring to play against players with 300 games but who end up making crazy scores... I've reported the fake accounts, but no action seems to be taken. This ruins the game for the people with low mmr . Last time, I found myself facing the same smurfs two games in a row. Besides, we are heavily sanctioned when we are bad or have connection problems.

300 games and in lowest rank and you call them smurfs ? You kids in dota are so soft, if you have 5000 games and still low mmr you have no rights to complain about people who uses 10% of their brain and outmatches you. I have maybe 250 games in dota but my first match was in 2014 and i never played dota longer than 3 weeks but i keep coming back after some time. Now its my third day in dota and i was called smurf like 3 times, you boys in low elo just need to shut your mouth and go to learn this game because you cant do ♥♥♥♥ in this game. I played alot of games that are competitive but never seen such a low iq animals in dota. Everyone cries that they cant play, they cant lane, but yet they are in harold rank with 4000 games nah bro its your skill issues not smurfs i promise you.

Firstly, I don't have 5000 matches, secondly I'm not a boy and thirdly don't talk to me about qi when you can't formulate an answer without insulting others, have a good day if you can

Last banwave they hit the smurfs with removed 20% off all dota2 sub-accounts.
There are atleast 2 smurfs / boosting services / 100 hours unlock services in every dota2 game.
Valve did not want to ban their main accounts.
Why not ban main accounts?

because 75% of the "pro scene" would be banned.

You celebrate the people at "the International" who are the smurfs in your games earning extra money with boosting accounts / unlocking 100 hours to ranked.

Yes, there are a lot of players whose personal skill clearly does not correspond to the number of matches (Dota profile level). You can call such players boosters, smurfs or something else - it does not matter. What is important is that they break the balance of teams, because it seems that Dota picks one such pseudo-newbie - for one team and a real newbie - for another. And yes, I agree with the OP that it is surprising that there are so many of them, as if Valve does nothing about it. Although it would seem that such players who break the rules should be easy to identify. They are quite easy to identify for an ordinary player who does not have any hidden account statistics, so is this really some kind of problem for Valve? I don’t know, maybe they specifically keep such players for some reason and do not ban them...

From all The people I have reported I never see any action taken for smurfing. However i completely agree The extend of The problem is huge. I also feel when valve decideds to hand out free arcanas to every single account that clearly inficeres to me that valve is happy with smurf accounts. Every national chat lobby has day Long spam advertisements of boosting service for sale. Not even these advertisements are being stopped. I feel valve could do a much better job in making a fair ranked game and it feels to me when a new patch arrived and I see items adjusted with 1 stat plus or minus that valve really lost focus on what a competitive game should be about, regardless of rank.
