Complaint about state of Dota 2 client, Servers, & host connections

I've been playing dota since RoC days and dota 2 for 10+ years (and still suck). The dota 2 servers are the worst they have ever been and are progressively getting even worse. I have never had so many issues with being able to just play a game of dota2, than I have in the last 6-12 months. I've lost count of how many times I've gone to have a game and then just have not been able to because of bad connections to the server or the client just being, well, awful.

Here are a few of the most common problems that I both experience and see frequently being posted about on this forum:

- When matchmaking finds a game but then not being able to load into it, getting stuck on "confirming match" and cant do anything except wait and hope or abandon and get punished.
- Getting stuck in a loop of "unable to connect to host after multiple attempts" then try reconnecting and getting the same message but are then punished for "abandoning" and if you abandon then try again after/later and it happens again, your punishment gets worse (and valve don't do anything about it).
- multiple client crashes during games that result in lengthy restart times due to a VERY SLOW "verifying game files" before it would boot up.

This next one is just one that I think is due to the poor match-making mechanic that finds you a game, and I am unsure of the prevalence but; during the weekly battle cup, we will often win the first match but then are unable to find a 2nd, or 3rd match (if we do get and win the 2nd match), our games usually average between 30-45 minutes, a fairly average game time, and yet still don't find an opponent after ~25 minutes.

Oh and I remember there has been at least one major server or network issue for OCE recently, where people just weren't able to play at all, for an entire region.

It's almost as if they haven't upgraded their hardware for 10+ years - wtaf valve!? when I have time free to play some dota, that's what i want to do, but half the time I try, I just simply cannot play the game, thanks gaben! maybe you could spend some of the TI battle pass money, cough, I mean crownfall money, that you decided to keep instead of putting into the TI prize pool into buying some upgraded hardware for the actual player base to be able to play and therefore spend money on your game?
