W is indeed boring, i really don't like the area limitation that cancels the skill if you try to actually use it to escape. The invisibility is already solved by the Veil item which pretty much does that for 2000 gold. What i would like to see is to either remove the area limitation (or at the very least make it bigger... Potential facet?) or i would like to see an explosion in the end of the skill. The box explodes with knives, after all, so maybe it could apply the same effect E does in AoE?
E is fine for the most part, its not that slow and the damage is decent since max HP based. My only complaint is that you can't rapid stack it for increased DoT DPS and instead just have to kinda torture your target by hitting them with it every 3 seconds.
R i do agree is kinda boring as not as flashy as one would expect for a circus showman, but as an ULT - its basically perfect. It does a little bit of everything: a little bit crowd control, a little bit damage, the cast range is crazy and shouldn't be touched IMHO, and the cooldown is not oppressively long, so you can use it at every opportunity without holding on to it for the perfect cast like Enigma.
Overall - i find him very fun to play. I don't particularly like playing support roles, but with this guy its invigorating since your entire job is to just harass the opponents as much as you can and he absolutely excels at it. Just don't send him to mid - he's not that good at it since he has very little options for expanding his kit, although he can buy Witchblade which stacks greatly with his E (and its a dagger too, so it fits his theme perfectly - i'm honestly surprised he doesn't have a voiced reaction to buying it, but he does for BattleFury? I think he was originally meant to be melee...)
If he gets nerf it will be from increased mana costs, to slow spam in lane, not cd or damage nerfs
His Q is perfect for in lane harrasing, securing range creeps and farming in a midgame.
His W is like one of the best save abilities in the game. When ringmaster is in the game, none of his cores can get focused. It protects from right clickers and counters spells. You can legit save from dual and reaper scythe.
His E can cancel blinks from insane range or slow, to allow everyone to catch up to a target.
And his ulti is literally an AEO taunt that deals damage overtime and slows + gets everyone together for spells like echo slame, black hole and etc.
Great hero with perfect toolkit. No idea what are you complaining about.
I mean, my only complain about his ult is that you can't place it where you want in the area you can throw it, it always goes to the end of the area so it's a bit difficult to land it good when there is already a requirement for it to do the CC that is people looking at it from inside the roulette area
What you are noticing is that his ult has a minimum cast range - he can't put it right under himself, but only slightly away from himself. But after that minimum range - its free game basically.

Oh really? I didn't knew that
Wow I didn't knew that, I guess I haven't watched a lot of interactions with it yet, it's not like I play DOTA2 every day and what I said was from a casual DOTA2 player viewpoint
