axe one shots medusa with ulti, nothing medusa can do early game, mid game yes linken, but if hes smart he will battlehunger, then ulti with blink. late game is no problem.

Yeah it's kind of a weird interaction, but you just gotta stay out of range until you gain enough farm to not be in one-hit kill territory.

Also you can't lifesteal off mana shield. So go more damage or heart, not satanic

Just buy octarine core, you'll get more mana shield, more HP, and less CD to recharge mana with the snake...

Literally Bracer. Especially after they changed that it now grants +150 HP instead of +DMG. Will counter axe's ult just like that for only some 500g until you get something better for the job.

thanks for the kind advice, I was very much shocked at the time. I was midlane medusa and axe blinked and used ulti on me very suddently.

It's one of those strange interactions, like anti mage can't drain mana or slow huskar and sillencer can't steal int from orge mage.
