Problem regarding Dota 2 and Discord

I'm only using Dota 2 for its resources for Source Filmmaker, but this has been a problem that seems to effect both the game and the SFM it uses.

At first, all seemed to be normal, but suddenly, Discord appeared in the window that Dota 2 was using, displaying a random server I was in. There was an exit button in the top right corner, with "SHIFT +," underneath it, but no matter how much I pressed it, and held Shift and the + key, Discord would not go away. This was the same with the SFM window, but instead, it said something like "We cannot display here, please resize to (size)x(size)px.". It was trying to display Discord there. Whether or not Discord was displayed, I could not see what I was doing at all.

I've looked on Steam and Discord alike, trying to find out why this was happening, but to no avail. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Thanks in advance.

I have solved the problem; it was Discord's built-in "Game Overlay" function.
