rat Dota Good/Bad.

I been hearing alot of this term lately and recently looked up on it, I want to know what the community thinks. Is rat Dota a viable play? Lets discuss :)

Yeah i also think its viable, but theres alot of people complaining about it lol.

It is viable as it is a great comeback mechanism. Too bad it is also very damn annoying.

Hahah let them complain. Im gonna start complaining every time I get ganked. Maybe that way ppl will notice it's rude to gank and stop doing it altogether (for my benefit of course, I will still gank everyone else if i can any time).

They just complain, because they don't know how to play against. It's a viable "playstyle"/"strat"... all in all it's the goal of the game.. destroy the ancient.. so why not focus on a strong hero with global presence? they're just looking for excuses

It's the digital equivalent of Guerrilla Tactics: avoiding fair fights, capitalizing on your opponent's weaknesses and generally playing nasty.

There's nothing wrong with ratting as a way to make a comeback or if the enemy clearly has overwhelming teamfight potential.

It's 100% viable.

People complain about it for the same reasons, they complain about Riki/BH picks -- it forces them to play the game in a way not really comfortable for them. Not a valid reason to complain imo. That's why I'm ignoring all the "rat doto" fuss in global chat.

There is only one bad aspect of ratting. It's when some pro team does it. Rat Dota is arguably the most boring thing to watch, unless opposing team comes up with viable counter strat.
