or only want something gloryful.
the items are just flavour you still must do your main root after and after you will find out.
just pick what is missing.
you need more health? you need a stun? you depend already too much on items? you cant get so much money? then you need to drop and go with skill...
its better to find out what you suit with.
e.g. I dont like several things that I find cheap or cheesy/ laming me when playing instead of helping

I forgot Force Staff in situational items but you can change this in the guides tab.
Neutral items are the best picks from tier1 to tier4.
As shared, make your own one asap !
PS : TOTALLY forgot to mention Ghost Scepter (check Ethereal Blade). Cheap save item to avoid to be attacked or bashed.
Well that would be a lot more helpfull if I knew it earlier.
I use the shop with all the items and tried to select correct items in it.
xD
Without a guide, this game is unplayable.
Go to Heroes -> Guides -> Create
PS : do not underestimate Infused Drop. Just a piece of advice. Life saver before the 10min mark against magic (such as Crystal Maiden or Skywarth Mage spamming).
And I couldn't find both of them so I just abandoned them.
But yeah I guess I need to check to item guides as well.
For the past 20 or 25 games I always played with recommended guide (The guide game gives you from the first place)
And tried to change it myself.
What else I should do ? Anyone have any other recommendation ?
Thank god I played Turbo and not ruined people's games.
Jeez the recommended / default guide is THE WORST of all.
What a piece of crap. After thousands of hours, I can still spot players relying on it xD.
What a joke.
Really, make your own with your own layout.
What else ? Use Alt + shift to queue your items.
As hard support I always queue my main items + 1 mango + 1 observer + 1 sentry.
Once they are available at shop or you have the money for it, you can see it immediately.
What else ? Go to the menu and fine tune the keys for your spells, per hero.
Fundamental, too.
What else ? In the menu, click on solo queue only.
What else ? Adapt the map options in the menu.
Because If so, that explains why everyone else was more powerfull and had more sustain than me in early game.
Okay I really need to get a coach or something
Thank god others can't watch my replays
You should see my custom Sven guide I made for myself. It's unhinged.
I would love to explain more of the game if you want, but I'll be back from work in about 2 hours.
I tried to find a balanced, close one, as hard support.
DO NOT PLAY Spirit Breaker hard support ! It's a soft support !
I was just frustrated that day by some losses and wanted to play, actively play.
But at least you can check the lane phase, I made it clean.
Go to watch -> replays -> search : 8047126413
I don't want that b--ch on enemy team
Personally I have a vivid hatred of Witch Doctor. I despite his poison that can't be countered in any way and despise switcheroo with passion. The less I see of that naked savage the better.
You mean his E ?
How much damage can it output ?
And just played a game and lost terribly due to picks. Oh well
Maledict is not really a poison. It amplifies the spells and attacks damages over time.
When casted, it checks the initial HP of the target. Then, every second, it checks the current HP. According to the gap between the initial and current HP, it deals extra damages. Larger the gap is, higher are the extra damages.
An easy counter to that in lane is the magic stick or wand, or any spell healing or granting a shield. With the stick or the wand you close the gap and reduce the damages of Maledict. They can even be reduced to zero if the current HP are equals to the initial HP. A Tango can help, too. Abaddon and its shield absorb the bursts. You can heal with Omniknight, Warlock, Undying, etc.
A very good duo in offlane is actually Witch Doctor and Brewmaster. At level 2, they are killing machines and they are unstoppable at level 3, once Brewmaster gets Rolling Barrel level 2. Even a stick or a wand cannot change this. Only Abaddon can maybe do something about it or eventually a talented Undying. At level 6, this duo is great.
I am a Brewmaster player. When I see a Witch Doctor soft support pick, believe me, I do not hesitate that much and I ask the mid or the safelaner to pick a magic oriented hero, too.
PS : you do not have access to Brewmaster, yet. He is rated as level 3 hero.
My point was to share a replay as hard support, just to give you an example of game and help you in your journey. It was not that focus on the hero, in this case SB.
I just warned about the fact SB is, normally, a soft support. And yes, I confirm it is its best fit.
