How to beat the Mine Sweeper mini game?

I've never played mine sweeper, how am I supposed to beat this to progress further?
It's impossible to clear properly when there is a bomb randomly anywhere.

Why is this needed to progress further in the event?

Youtube helped me a lot, I know is stupid for Steam to make us play a game we dont want/know/enjoy but it is what it is, I’ve never beat any minesweeper lvl in my life till I looked up in youtube.

Good Luck, wait for the other “games” the stress doesn’t end with minesweeper…

I've never played Minesweeper before either, but I was able to complete it. There is no randomness in this game. All mines are calculated based on the rules of the game. The main thing in this game is focus and keeping a square of 9 cells in your head. Although I agree that levels 4-5 are quite difficult, given the number of cells and the time limit.
