Immortal treasure from candy shop

I have a question, I couldn't google it. I've already gotten the 2016 immortal treasure (where the hammer for faceless void drops from) in the shop 3 or 4 times. As far as I know, when you open a regular immortal teasure, the chances of getting rare items increase each time. So, does this apply to treasures from the candy shop? Can I expect that if I open many more of these free treasures, I will actually be able to get this hammer?

Yes- just a few days ago I opened up a treasure and the rare KotL (horse) immortal dropped, and then the chances reset to 1.

Edit: just to confirm the above, the items from the treasures from the candy shop, rare or regular, are not tradeable. But if you're just looking to collect, then yes the chances are just like opening a normal chest.

I can accurately state they do count. Any candyworks treasure with a reel in it will count how many you have opened, even from prior events. Your history never changed, the item was simply discontinued.

Candy works allows you to regrind for that rare or very rare. Double awesome as I can't market them, so they are mine forever. Already popped like 50 immortals from years past.

Yeah, I was hoping for the necroing-scythe ultra-mega-super-duper rare, but no luck yet :P
