How do you counter LC?

I feel like no one knows how to deal with LC anymore. Did something change? what items are good against her? I rarely win against a legion commander. and rarely lose with one on my team too.

AA ultimate and avoid of being dueled, smoke of riki is a good skill against LC too. It depends on rank skill and items choice also, that's why you rarely see LC in pro match cause so easy to kite ^^

Pudge bite (shard), ringmaster, OD, dazzle, shadow demon, and few more. For items: heavens halberd, eul, Ethereal blade or ghost scepter, linkens.

you have support be out of sight. but close enough to save you when you get dueled.

Shadow demon: disruption
Pudge hook
Shadowshaman/Lion Hex/stun/shakle
WD ult
Disruptor Glimpse
Undying Shard ( put target inside tomb )
Phoenix Scepter ( put teammate inside egg with you )
I'm sure there are many more I forgot about.


Even some core can save others.
Like OD can imprison you.

LC is a support killer. so stay out his vision. that's how you counter.
force him to go for a core and fail.

If there is lc on the opposite side choose lion.
Fighting LC for lion is like dancing cha cha.
LC player's priority is to kill creep get gold for item.
You priority is to sabotage him.
Up your stun and mana drain than ultimate. focus on denied his last hits.
When he is cutting creep suck his mana. he will either back or come kill u.
When he come towards you stun him, hit him 1x and run like a mf back to your tower.
When He step in to kill the creeps, you stun lc d9 the creep and suck his mana.
Keep Distancing.
When He step out to lure the creeps back to his side you step in to control the pace.
stun lc d9 the creep and suck his mana.
keep distancing & repeat.
You will need to know the maximum reach of your hero and blink distance you can find this out in hero demo.
Always check his mana, if LC still has mana keep repeating.
LC cannot dual without mana.

If you do correctly your level will be higher than him as time goes.
That gives you higher chances of killing him later when u get your ultimate.
Your stun will lower his hp force him to cast heal and it will drain his mana.
Your mana drain will drain his mana.
This will set him up for your ultimate, once his hp drops below 50%.
(you need to check often)
Stun lc, normal hit 2x, than cast your ultimate. Than he goes for his teabreak....
Item reommended: 1) Blink , 2)linken 3) boots of speed 4) ethereal blade 5) heart 6) Octarine Core
