Dota 2
Need solution to Packet Loss (10-70%)
I have tried almost ALL the solutions / suggestions on the internet that can possibly stop this annoying Packet Loss. I have a decent ping of 90-130 ms. I tested my connection on www.speedtest.net and http://freeola.com/line-test/ and it said that I had 0% packet loss and a decent ping and download speed. Nobody in my house is using the internet while I play DOTA 2. In the beginning of the game I usually have 3-10% packet loss, but then later on it reaches 50% and then goes down in 1 second. It sometimes even reaches 70% ! It's TOO annoying! I turned my router off then on several times, I bought a completely new router, I validated the integrity of the game cache files, I put in ALL the commands in the console that were supposed to lower the packet loss, I set certain launch options, and I scanned my entire computer (Boot-file scan, and full system scan) to find and delete any programs/ viruses that could have been using my internet while I play. PLEASE HELP.

Go to the proper region
Make sure you have a proper ISP (and decent upload) Routing is often a problem with weak ISP's

Do a format C: incase your computer is riddled with trouble.

The freeola thing is useless for you, you can do a traceip from your ip to a "dota server ip" and see if there is a problem in the routing.

I checked with my ISP and there seems to be no problem what so ever, on the contrary i get excellent internet from him, but how do I trace my ip to the dota server ip ?
take your computer and go somewhere else (i.e. a friend's home), try playing on another line.

NP it might be due to the fact not all "regions" have servers in one stop but rather more and if you get a server you have bad routing to (as the one you posted first) it will ♥♥♥♥ you up
