how can i download dota 1, i cant find any links in google

He's not wrong, though. DotA 1 was never standalone (to my knowledge at least), it was a mod for Warcraft 3 called "Defense of the Ancients" that kickstarted the whole MOBA genre into existence.

I don't believe there are any working OFFICIAL Warcraft 3 servers still running, but there could be.

Like I said, DotA 1 refers to the mod for Warcraft 3, so it's technically not its own game, though it might as well be.

Honestly, a good number of people claiming DotA 1 to be amazing are probably lying. Not willingly, but due to tinted glasses making an older thing nostalgic and homely compared to a new thing they have problems with.

While I can't speak from personal experience, it's probably just a watered-down version of what you see in D2.

I still watch some DotA1 videos every now and then (once a month or so). Because I miss the sounds and lines. :)

I've never had a desire to see StarCraft 1, WC3, or DotA 1 for myself. Too old for me.

Warcraft 3 servers are still UP. OFFICAL of course. Just buy Warcraft 3 and The Frozen Throne, and go to www.dota-allstars.com and you can download the map and play on Battle.net.
It's a lot harder then DotA 2 of course, you have to keep your hero selected for example if you click something else you lose control until you re-click ;]

Don't take my word as absolute 100% true, mainly because I've never played it, but you are probably better off playing DotA 2.
