permanent gains
out of curiosity, how do people feel about the permanent stat gains that character receive during kills

such as PUDGE, LEGION COMMANDER, OUTWORLD DEVOURER, SILENCER

the LEGION COMMANDER, given enough kills with the ulti gets a huge damage boost

but the worst ive seen is a pudge that has over 4k health, and seems to be able to take anything we can throw at him, due to all that added strength

Pudge isn't bad to deal with, even with ridiculous amounts of health he has relatively low armour so melts to physical damage.

that is why a good lc knows when to ult and get the dam
a moron lc just come in ults the guy with a less hp lc dies the other guy gets the dam

a good LC wont just do that, any LC with half a brain would target the easiest guy or the one with the least amount of HP

PUDGE... i dunno its just annoying to see how he just gets free HP just because someone dies in his vicinity

it really encourages snowballing, and he can take even more damage now, with the added strength

if you dont target him...he will disable you, and do just some damage if left unchecked

Well Legion's can easily backfire and Pudge's isn't really that bad unless he gets an insane amount.

I thought OD's Int-gains were only temporary? Did they change that during his recent rework?

Personally I don't mind them- they are an interesting mechanic IMO, and just something that needs to be worked around.

OD's are only temporary you are correct, nothing was changed

Then like... don't die a lot. You deaths benefit the enemy team either way, Pudge or no Pudge.
I feel like at least LC should lose half her damage gain on death. I'd like if you could steal INT back from silencer too, 1 int stolen back if you kill him within the same range he'd steal int. Pudge isn't so bad, like someone else said he's just a big stack of hit points without much armor, and not much damage potential either.

the team does benefit from the enemy deaths, but if pudge benefits alot more with the added permanent stat gain

but then again, now that i realize it...it is after all dota 2

snowballing, is just one of those things

im starting to see why LEAGUE OF LEGENDS is alot more liked by other players

though i never really played LEAGUE OF LEGENDS that much

the concept of having a more forgiving gameplay is alot more less stressful

well i mean, given enough kills and his amazing ability to ambush and isolate the enemy

just makes him devastating, give him a ♥♥♥♥ ton of HP just makes him be able to take whatever you throw at him

itd be nice if we can remove those buffs whenever they die to be fair

It's fine just don't play like an idiot, you know those 3 heroes want to be in fights a lot so expect legion and silencer to look for kills and fights every time their ultis are up. Them being predictable is their downside so ward correctly and counter gank and if they have failed to get many stacks they will be weak in the late game.

i find the easiest way to counter any of these stat heros is to buy an orchid, sheep, or stun them in some way

Yeah, but that's not any different from the way DotA normally works- every death makes your enemy stronger, and so makes the next death more likely. That's the snow-balling nature of the entire game.

In this way, it's really just a multiplicative sort of thing. Where a normal hero gets gold and XP from your death, these heroes get gold, XP, and stats. So really it just means you have to be a little extra careful around them.

OD's isn't permanent, it lasts for 50 seconds.
As for the rest: 5-man everywhere and don't die.
