Dragon Chess, what's the strat?
Anyone familiar with match-3 games will see this mimics the standard Bejeweled formula, with a bonus where the different gems have different effects when matched in 4's and 5's instead of a standard powerup across all gems.
The problem I have with it (aside from it being called CHESS instead of JEWELS/HOARD or something to that effect), is that you can't move pieces except to make a match, which makes it near impossible to set up cascades or get higher tier match combos. You basically have to get lucky with the Brood or Vengeful Spirit gems and hope they make more of themselves in just the right places to keep making more of them endlessly. The rest is complete RNG.

Now if this followed Bejeweled Twist's rules, where you twist a section of 4 gems and don't have to make a match and can twist them freely, this would really open up the opportunities for skillful play, especially if they introduced a match streak multiplier to incentivize just matching what you have instead of going for the big wombo-combo powerups.
Even if they don't implement the twisting, they still need to allow you to move gems around without having to make a match. Either that, or make the enemies attack at turn-intervals rather than over real time so that you aren't worried about having to match as fast as humanly possible, and can focus on making each turn count.

Don't think too much, speed is the key. You can move other gems even the 1 before you moved haven't finish its animation, especially those combo.
