Main thing is - you indeed CAN NOT kill an enemy with Sunder + Khanda.
Now for the details
- Khanda DOES work with Sunder, it still triggers and goes on the 6 second cooldown and the visual effect still plays.
- It seems Khanda itself triggers before Sunder, this can be tested by having a full health Terrorblade use Sunder on a full health enemy. Terrorblade will be left with slight damage, while the enemy will be at full health - which should mean one of them was damaged before Sunder took place
- However, even if the enemy is at low health (tested against Luna on 1 health due to Armlet of Mordigan), they will not die. This part is the confusing one, since the Khanda effect seems to still take place (Khanda goes on cooldown), but either there is some special code to prevent this interaction, or Sunder somehow takes place between Khanda effect and game checking whether the hero is dead (as in - Khanda kills the hero, but Sunder swaps enough health for the hero to be above 0, maning they don't die)
If you are looking for this kind of cheesy build for Terrorblade, there was one similar recently
- Armlet of Mordigan (to keep Terrorblade on low HP)
- Shadow Blade (to get close enough to enemies without dying)
- Dagon (to instantly kill the enemy after you Sunder them while you are at 1 health)
