Provide some details or specs of your machine such as CPU (with model & cache frequency), RAM (with frequency), GPU (model & total memory).
I did its right in my post maybe not all details but i dont see how my 16gb ram would influence since all are above what is needed ... amd ryzen 5600H 4.0 ghz , 16gb ddr4 ram at 3200 mhz (8x8) 3070 RTX 8gb gddr6
TL, DR; I think if you check the benchmarks of those, you have good CPU, GPU, and RAM to go for gaming. If you said the "fps" of your monitor/screen dropped that much, I doubt you forgot the MAIN power source/supply of your gaming laptop. If you want the hardwares of your gaming laptop especially the main processing units within CPU & GPU to work efficiently with each other, your machine must use the Main Power Supply (cable) that connected to your wall socket. Gaming laptop can be good but the performance probably drop a lot if you gaming by using the integrated Battery only as the Power Supply (a lot of hardwares performance will drop based on the percentage of the battery).
Make sure your machine(PC) or the gaming laptop has good cooling system also or you may use "table fan" as your extra cooling. :) - Most gaming laptops have something known as "Thermal or Heat Throttling" where it will auto-detect the temperature of the hardwares, performances may be locked at certain stage to prevent over-heating. To profoundly understand the power consumption, during gaming time, your PC GPU & CPU will consume the most powers and both of them always require continuous stable supply of electrical powers. I can say, if the power supply drop by 50%, then their performance may drop by half also. Thus, your machine unable to generate the best "outlook" for your gaming.
Btw, what do you mean by "removing drivers"? Do you uninstall your PC drivers which automatically installed for you? If you uninstall certain drivers, it may cause certain integrated hardware on your gaming laptop to lost its function. The drivers of your machine(PC) can be known as "languages" or ways for PC hardwares to communicate with your PC Operating System. For example, if you uninstall a certain driver, then your PC Operating System(such as Windows) may unable to "speak/contact" with certain hardware that lost its driver. That's why "COMMUNICATION" is very important in our lives including the Dota 2 game because it involves the process of exchanging information between different entities. - Hope it helps :)
I always play with Vulkan setting. Quite true for some failures in model textures and shadering. However, to me, restarting the whole game client can help to resolve the issue on texture shadering or glitching.
Don't use the MSI afterburner. That is not an application to work exactly with your Graphic Card which been manufactured by Nvidia. If you are using Nvidia product, then better go and search for Nvidia apps such as Geforce Experience.
MSI afterburner is just an application that simply push your PC hardware to unknown status and it may spoil your hardware because it is created for MSI machine. IIRC the MSI afterburner is an overclocking application which always failing the gamers and causes a lot of overheating issues. :) hope it helps.
Open your Nvidia Control Panel and monitor your hardware from there.
And, maybe the in-game video settings has wrong setup? The max fps allowed for in-game and dashboard. You need to make a lot of tests by yourself already and make sure your GPU is actively working and running when your Dota 2 game is running. Most important is, don't play game by using the battery as power supply.
MSI can be a Graphic Card manufacturer but the chipsets or components of the GPU are produced by Nvidia. :) that's what I know.
Looked at the store page, no Vulkan DLC... so was it removed? Temporary due to new update or what?
You having the issue with a lot of models turned up "boxing", right? I think you may try use back DirectX11. Everything seems good to me when I am using DX11 now. The Vulkan may seems newer, but some hardware maybe not compatible for certain parts.
