FPS drop with RTX 2060

I recently upgraded from an AMD R7 360 SERIES to an EVGA 2060 RTX KO ULTRA and I feel that it is giving me the same performance only a little better and I think it would have to give me more than double the performance of the previous one, I wanted to know if this is something del dota or is it my pc, I have an I7 4771 and 8gb ram ddr3 1600mhz.

60fps in teamfight drops to 45-30

Probably a bottleneck on the cpu, i dont really know tho, many factors can apply, replacing your gpu to a stronger one while using an old cpu/ ram wouldn't change performance if its a bottleneck

I test with msi afterburner and cpu dont reach 100%

It is a bottleneck then, my friend with 1660 super got 200ish fps on 1300p, consider replacing ur other hardwares also

i think it can be the ram frequency and it is single channel

8gb is not enough for RTX2060 to perform well... try add 1 more 8gd, then these dual channel total 16gb will be better... and do you use SSD for your main drive(install software etc.) ?

I also recently bought a hdd disk because the previous one I had was generic and obsolete I have a 1TB Western Digital Blue

It's bottleneck. Even my Ryzen 5 3600 + RX570 getting 100+ FPS. You need to upgrade your CPU too. Always upgrade CPU first and GPU last for Esport games.

fro primary installing software, better use SSD now
