He can't farm too well on his free time as support, so you're pretty much left with following your carries the entire time.
I don't hate it, but I have no desire to play it and generally sigh when it appears on my team.
in dota heroes are supposed to be unique and different. this ♥♥♥♥ is just the generic league copy pasta method.
have a nuke, have a buff/save, have a debuff, and a nuke+cc ult.
they arent anything new too just a bastard child of dazzle and disruptor if the kid was also born without limbs
I wish it would scale with right click damage though and proc unique modifiers like crit etc, would create some interesting combinations.
W is more like a slightly weaker, but more flexible Shadow Demon's banish. It also ignores any slows, so you can use it to escape from Warlock's field for example. I wonder if it ignores enigma's BH too? Its actually very powerful, if not for limited cast range.
I also think it should be doing something upon box' explosion. Maybe deal just a tiny bit of damage, or - following the fact that its full of RM's daggers - it should apply the 3 to everyone around it? Maybe that could be aghs upgrade, actually?
E is Squirel's ult, just made into a common ability. I actually kinda like it. Its great for harassment and if you are sharing the lane with Phantom Assassin - you are dagger buddies now. The hitbox on it is exceptionally generous - almost to a detriment, as you will often hit creeps instead of your intended target.
The only change i would like to see is to remove the cooldown between throws and allow RM to stack them up - so your throw all 3 daggers at the same target for maximum DoT DPS.
R though... Feels incomplete. Its powerful when it works - its a fairly decent disable with a bit of damage, but there are stronger disables, damage loses its' potency quickly since it doesn't scale and the fact that they have to stare at it for 0.5 seconds to trigger it creates problems as i often threw an ult right in front of the enemies only for them to turn away slightly and then it does nothing. I imagine this ult will be very quickly countered in pro scene once everyone learn to just look away.
The idea, of course, is that RM must FORCE them to look at it - usually by throwing ult behind them and then using 1 to turn them around with fear, but its a hard combo to pull off and the end result is not that great. Either they should be hypnotized for another extra second or the blast damage must be increased by like 30%.
Or the passive slow/damage that the thing actually provides while active should be stronger to make sure that the ult does something even if no one is looking at it.
RM is definitely neat, for what should be a 5/4 he's a fairly mean character with lots of damage in lane and can provide some impact in late game with all the escapes and crowd control.
So far my biggest gripe with him are his random-ass bonus items he gets from dying heroes. Its like a 5th ability that randomly changes all the time and in the middle of the fight i just can't readjust quick enough and come up with "correct" way of using them besides just spamming. WTF am i even supposed to do with the illusion thing?
The ult is mega bugged its supposed to pull towards the clown but it never works
