No-no, that's the point. Have you forgotten about CrownFall already?
All they did was separate the "E-sports" part and the "Cosmetics and other cookie stuff" into separate entities. CrownFall is what compendiums used to be like, but without the E-Sport part. This is how compendiums will look like going forward - pure "Damn, i love me some pro players and their shenanigans" thing. For everyone else there's events like Crownfall.

The lootboxes and arcanas are in Crownfall, just buy those.

By taking all the good stuff out of the Battle Pass and putting it in a separate event. They're taking all the money that would go into the Prize pull. And putting it in there pocket instead.

yes this is really disappointing, why i would i buy the compendium if it doesn't any benefit me? for raising the prize pool no thanks, you could add atleast one persona or arcana at level 100 or something
