Good for the sharing there. Thanks for it. I think the Compendium seems a rename only compared to the Battlepass. Besides the Compendium offered a lot of rewards returning when players or owners finish certain requirements inside such as the quests. We should see it as improvement instead of worsening because when The International or TI is around the corner, the nearby event must be ended also as TI is a major event also.

Collecting prize pool money with your hard earned money(charity) for random people ? In receive ,you get basically nothing but some flashy teleport effects and idiotic 5 years old voice chat which will be taken away after tea eye? You can do whatever you want with your money , but at the same time , I could and can just donate it to a normal charity , even HB gives you some pretty cool games in return , right?
The thing is , you won't get anything useful here , this "compendium" should be free for everyone to progress while you play. If they are asking for money , how about you give something in return? I saved my money again , as a lot of people as well...

What about the free arcana as given through the luck at Crownfall event? The payments of Crownfall events can be meant for other rewards/awards/gifts. Free arcana not good?

i'm just stating the facts.
there is no behavior score in HoN, no hidden queue to delay your matches to 30-60 min, no "recent changes" with bagpack, neutral item, facette, no comeback mechanic.

im just saying maybe for some people "old dota" is a good idea.

there is no behavior score in HoN, no hidden queue to delay your matches to 30-60 min, no "recent changes" with bagpack, neutral item, facette, no comeback mechanic.

How did you get the 30 - 60 minutes of queue when you were matchmaking there? Can you answer my question there? Why my matchmaking averagely took around 30 secs ~ 2 mins+ only? Sometimes, when I clicked the green button of find match, the game straight ready for me. So fast? Less than 1 second and it seems like instant matched me up.

im just doing healthy positive free marketing for people that care.
the best option is of course leaving MOBA games alltogether, because they're not healthy for you at all.

but some of us diehards are too deep in the hole. i have over 10.000 hours on Dota2.

if a kid would ask me "should i start playing dota", then i would look at the kid, talk to him a little, and if i like the kid then i would tell him about all the other great games that exist and how much fun they all are. i would not mention dota2 a single time, hoping to somehow hypnotize him so that he ultimately forgets about dota2 and MOBA entirely.

play another game bro. CS can be fun, WoW can be fun, outdoor hobbies are fun.

don't mention dota2 or MOBA a single time. don't tell him "it's not good for you". just spend all the time on the kid telling him about other great stuff that exists.

so that MAYBE he forgets about dota2 and moba.

that said.

if i dont like the kid at all and i hate him I will tell him "yea man dota2 is great game, download install and let's have some fun together".

his life is going to spiral slowly downwards.

I wonder why other people care about their own matchmaking queue time and simply blame the fault of their own attitudes on the Compendium. Hilarious, aren't they?

yea, we're hilarious. as long as we are there and complain, we can be hilarious.
and then we leave. and there's no hilarious person around.

HoN's player numbers are going up. pretty fast too, considering it's a dead game.

average players online during peak EU hours are 6000-7000

you click "find match" and have a match in basically the first 5 mins.

no longer worry about "behavior score" - it does not exist.

oh, and also, that's a hint for many of you playing dota2 to "grind mmr".
unless you're currently 8000-9000 mmr, you will never ever be a pro, so you may aswell skip the idea of becoming a pro and just move on to a game that's more fun.
