I need help!

after the latest update, i try to launch the game normally but then it open up in my second monitor which is my laptop monitor and not my main monitor that im currently using, any other steam game launch there in my main monitor, expect dota.
And when i tried to change the setting in the loading screen, my mouse cant press anything in there, i tried to click everything but nothing seems to be clicked. Had to alt f4 just to exit the game. Please if anyone has the problem or fixed the problem do tell thanks!

Try dragging the game window to a different monitor. If the resolution is the same, there will be no problems. It is definitely possible on Linux, I can't say anything about the others.
You can also try to move the mouse cursor to the monitor you want to play on immediately after starting the game. Also may affect the location of the steam client.

well after the other update today, i can press a certain area of the in game menu but not all of it, i still cant press the play button or the exit button on the Conner right top and bottom screen...and i can only press top left on the screen, i did try changing the game to window mode, but when i try to press apply, i am unable to press the button..its like top left until the middle of the screen are the only areas i can press. currently bottom left from the middle of the screen i am unable to press anything, i hope u get what i mean its like a small box top left Conner are the areas i can press anything now

You can use the option to run in windowed mode before launching the game. -windowed

right click dota 2, under launch options type -sw (this will make dota 2 run in window mode)
then adjust to match your screen.

its fix! i just change the 1 and 2 monitor in display setting, then its open in my main monitor i change it to windows mode (cuz last time i cant even press the apply button as in my previously mention post)
then change it back in the setting display, and finally i could pull the dota 2 windows mode to the main screen and its done! i dont know what happen after the update last time or was it my graphic card update that change it soo i dont know what it was. But thank god its fix
