Act 3 New Patch AMD Anti-Lag.20
I've been using DX11 as my renderer in dota 2 but in the new update act 3 crownfall when I opened my game, the main menu was so laggy and it took a few minutes before it was smooth again and I went to settings and saw that AMD anti-lag 2.0 got added and enabled, when I accepted a match the screen was black and I could only click on the settings button and after that it would not connect to the picking stage and I thought that it was my net so I restarted my net and game after that same problem black screen then couldnt connect sometimes I would but most of the time I would get a penalty for not connecting when I would go ingame the fps was 20 something and after a minute it would stabalize and there was a huge mouse input latency and I had to reconnect everytime to fix it I tried to disable amd anti lag 2.0 it was still the same and I tried using the vulkan renderer which fixed all my problems and Im wondering if anyone experienced this too or just me

just add -prewarm to the launch options

-prewarm is the default since 2020-08-17. Adding it does nothing.

yeah -prewarm does nothing and still the same issue with running dx11 as the renderer. Just use vulkan for now haha
